FAQ

Questions buyers ask before the first order.

Straight answers on minimum order quantity, private label, certification, lead time and sampling.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ depends on the category and whether the order is a stock configuration or a private-label build. Each product page carries a starting figure and the quote states the exact number.

Can you put our brand on the product and the packaging?

Yes. Private label covers logo, colourway, packaging artwork, manuals, firmware strings and the companion app name. Tooling paid for by the buyer remains the buyer’s property, documented in the contract.

Which certifications can you supply?

CE, FCC, RoHS, UKCA, REACH and UN38.3 as standard, with the test reports attached to the quote. For markets that need notified-body or in-country approval, we coordinate with the laboratory your importer nominates.

How long does a first order take?

Stock configurations typically ship within two to four weeks of deposit. A private-label build with new tooling runs six to ten weeks depending on the moulding scope; the schedule is fixed at the sampling stage.

Do you ship to a warehouse or a 3PL?

Yes. We work to your incoterm and can drop to a nominated warehouse, 3PL or Amazon prep centre, with carton marks and packing lists prepared to their requirements.

Can we get samples before committing?

Yes. Samples are quoted with tooling and NRE broken out separately so you can see exactly what is one-off and what is unit cost.

Can we use your product photos and videos on our own website and social media?

Yes. Authorized distributors and partners may use our product photography, videos and specification materials for their own sales and marketing. We can provide high-resolution original photos and white-background image packs on request. Materials remain the property of KRANTY; please keep the products presented as-is (no rebranding of our photos to other models) and contact us if you need custom shots for a specific market.

Do you support SKD / CKD (knocked-down) shipments?

Yes — SKD and CKD export solutions are available for most models, helping reduce finished-unit import duties in your market. Packaging, MOQ and the level of disassembly are confirmed per model and per order, together with the documentation your customs clearance requires. Tell us your destination market and we will propose the most cost-effective shipping configuration.

Can we inspect the goods or audit the factory before shipment?

Welcome. You may appoint a third-party inspection agency (SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV, or your own inspector) to audit the factory or inspect goods before shipment, and we support live video factory/production-line tours by appointment. Pre-shipment inspection reports are shared with the buyer, and any issues found are rectified before loading.

What documents do you provide for customs clearance?

Each shipment is documented for import: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, and certificate of origin on request. For regulated products we add the declaration of conformity, EMC and safety test reports, and UN38.3 with MSDS for lithium batteries. Documents are issued in the importer's name where the market requires it.

Do you provide English manuals and multi-language packaging?

Yes. We supply English manuals and safety documentation as standard, and can prepare packaging and manuals in the major EU, North American, Latin American, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian languages on request as part of the private-label package.

How do you handle after-sales service, spare parts and technical support?

Spare parts are supplied with subsequent orders and a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects is included, or 15 months from the date of shipment, whichever comes first. Remote technical support and troubleshooting guides are provided, and we coordinate with your local service partner where one is appointed.

Can you develop a custom model from our specification (ODM)?

Yes. Beyond OEM branding we offer ODM development from your specification: function, enclosure, firmware, companion app and packaging can all be engineered to a brief, with tooling and NRE scoped at the sampling stage.

Which markets do you export to, and can you support per-market homologation?

We export worldwide and coordinate per-market homologation and the documentation your import process needs, including CE for Europe, FCC for the United States, UKCA for the United Kingdom, and regional approvals for Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. Tell us the destination market and we will outline the compliance path.

Are your electric mopeds type-approved for Europe (L1e/L2e)?

For Europe the path is L1e/L2e type-approval plus CE marking (Radio Equipment, EMC and Low Voltage directives); the UK uses UKCA and the US FCC where the product radiates. Tell us the market and we outline the compliance and documentation path before you order.

Can the motor, battery and speed class be configured for my market?

Yes. Battery chemistry and capacity, motor rated and peak power, and the speed class are configured per destination market, because each market classes light EVs differently for licensing and registration. Share your market and use and we confirm the build that fits.

What are your payment terms?

Production is normally 30% deposit with the balance 70% against the bill of lading, settled by T/T or PayPal. Tooling or NRE for custom development is scoped and quoted at the sampling stage.
